The Canberra Region provides you access to arguably the most diverse region in Australia, strategically located between Sydney and Melbourne. The Canberra Region takes in South East NSW and the ACT, stretching from the South-Western Slopes, through the Southern Tablelands by way of Canberra, across to the South Coast then down to the Snowy Mountains, and NSW High Country.
Canberra is the major hub to South East NSW, and intrinsically linked to the region, through transport linkages, educational and research institutions, tertiary health services, and retail. South East NSW is important for the sustainable provision and growth of service in Canberra, and provides a greater diversity of experiences and opportunities beyond the city’s limits.
As the Canberra Region grows we have a shared story to tell potential visitors, investors, students, residents and businesses.
The Canberra Region Joint Organisation in partnership with stakeholders in the Canberra Region is working to promote the competitive strengths of our region and collectively enhance our economic opportunities.
