Tidbinbilla Nature Reserve borders the Namadgi National Park and covers about 5500hectares of land.
The Tidbinbilla Nature Reserve is made up from the Tidbinbilla mountain and Gibraltar ranges, and the Tidbinbilla Valley where there are plenty of slopes and forest areas.
When you're at the Tidbinbilla Nature Reserve you can enjoy its vast array of native flora such as the snow gum that dominates the area, and fauna including 164 bird species, mammals and reptiles.
There are also plenty of recreational activities such as having a BBQ or a picnic, going for bushwalks down its many walking trails, cycling, 4WDing and taking scenic drives through the reserve.
If you would like more information about the reserve you can venture to the Tidbinbilla Visitor Centre and talk to the staff about guided walks and special events. You can also see displays at the centre and an interactive computer program about Tidbinbilla's birds and animals.
Before you leave you can purchase a wide range of souvenirs and books as well as coffee and snacks at the Tidbinbilla Vistor Centre.
