The High Court of Australia, situated on the Parliamentary Triangle between the National Gallery of Australia and the National Science and Technology Centre.
Constructed of concrete and glass, it has a large public hall, an administrative wing, a Justices' chambers and three courtrooms.
Visitors can see the Great Hall where there is an educational display on view as well as exhibitions or performances by differing cultural organisations. Visitors can also view the three courtrooms, which are the most-used rooms each day. If you wish to relax after exploring the High Court of Australia, there is a caf where you can enjoy both light refreshments and meals throughout the day.
Before you leave, make the most of the court's grounds by the shore of Lake Burley Griffin. On fine days many people enjoy their lunch outside in the parkland surrounding the High Court of Australia in Canberra.
