Cockington Green Gardens, Canberra is most renowned for its miniature buildings. Every single one has been hand built and are 1/12th scale replicas of actual buildings in the United Kingdom.
To complement the miniature buildings, Doug and his family have created miniature people made from clay, bisque fired and painted. Many hours of work went into creating these people - not to mention the amount of work that goes into maintaining them such as repainting them every year.
On the topic of miniature, you'll enjoy the Miniature Steam Train Ride. It is a half size replica of a Fowler Cane Loco and operates on a 12" gauge track and has a drive configuration of 0-4-0.
