The Canberra District Wine Festival

The Canberra District Wine Harvest Festival is held at the end of March or beginning of April each year and celebrates the wineries of the region with great wine, delicious food, live music, wine-making demonstrations and tours of vineyards.

Some of the featured wineries at the Canberra festival include Lark Hill Winery, Mount Majura Vineyard, Lerida Estate Wines and Helm Wines.

Visitors have the opportunity to learn how to ferment wine, make red wine, white wine and biodynamic wine. There are also recreational activities you can enjoy such as grape stomping, and hot-air ballooning.
